Hot Topic Case Studies- Free places

Hi everyone

I hope you had a lovely Easter.

I have some fully funded places available on Asthma Case Studies & COPD Case Studies. These are great sessions that were created based on popular topics and challenges in asthma and COPD.

ASTHMA CASE STUDIES 11th May 9:30-1:15

https://www.lrrespiratory.com/case-studies-in-asthma This session will cover the below and more:

-‘Exercise induced' symptoms & 'seasonal asthma'

-Tacking SABA over reliance and poor adherence to preventer

-Treatment beyond initial maintenance therapy- initial add on therapy and additional controller therapy

-Maintenance and reliever therapy (MART) and some of the misconceptions around this. ‘Do I need to give patients a SABA as well?’ -My patient is poorly controlled on additional controller therapy, what next?

-‘Specialist' therapies: LAMA, high dose ICS, Theophylline, Biologics -Where does triple therapy fit?

-Exacerbations & personalised asthma action plans -When to refer

COPD case studies 18th May 9:30-11:15

Covering the below and more:

-Diagnosis with and without spirometry

-Co morbidities/being holistic

-The place of triple therapy, what about pneumonia risk?

-Exacerbation and rescue packs

-Non pharmacological management options: the fundamental elements of care

-Breathing techniques & physical activity
